Dream Catchers Foundation has evolved providing additional services in unserved communities. With a continuous focus on teaching and educating in underserved communities Dream Catchers Foundation also works with youth and adults that are at a high-risk for HIV.

We continue to provide support and educational tools around financial literacy, budgeting, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills. We have built onto those services by adding support and advocacy in at risk communities with a focus on HIV.

Programs

Young Bosses Summer Camp

Young bosses academy is a rigorous one-week entrepreneurial curriculum design summer camp for students from the age of 6-22. The camp is free of charge to students each summer. Young Bosses Summer Camp teaches foundational concepts in business and entrepreneurship. Participants utilize an interactive workbook created by founder Raquel M.R. Thomas, “Shifting Into Purpose, The Journey to Entrepreneurship,”. Each session teaches students:

Forward into Positive Action

Forward into Positive Action helps to reduce the stigma, improve access, and resources in communities that are disproportionately impacted by HIV. It is heavily focused on advocacy for young people living with HIV and black men that identify as gay, bisexual, queer, or transgender living with HIV. We provide support, advocate, and educational tools through community action, joining forces with organizations with common goals, and through partnerships. The priority is to provide resources and access that will support a healthy lifestyle. Forward into Positive Action uses media, television, and community partnerships to educate.
